Diagnosis of hidradenitis suppurativa

Back to decision-making tree Print last updated on 13/02/2020

The diagnosis of HS relies upon a combination of clinical arguments including the association of 3 criteria:

Any nodular or cystic lesions, any abscess located in the armpits, groin, perineal or breast area should call the diagnosis of HS to mind.

No complementary investigation is necessary to diagnose HS.
